passengers served by Polish airports in 2025
Warsaw–Radom Airport recorded falling traffic in the first three quarters of 2025
Polish aviation is growing, but Radom needs its own strategy
According to Poland’s Civil Aviation Authority, Polish airports handled 66.1 million passengers in 2025, an increase of 11.7% year on year. Warsaw–Radom, however, was among the airports reporting a decline in traffic in the first three quarters. This contrast makes a realistic operating model central to the debate.
Beyond the number of routes
An airport’s attractiveness depends on road and rail access, airline supply, seasonal demand and relationships with tour operators. The discussion should consider both market potential and infrastructure operating costs.
