01 / ABOUT THE CONGRESS

Radom's future will not happen by itself.

It takes decisions, investment and cooperation. That is why we meet to discuss not only challenges, but above all opportunities that can be turned into action.

21.11.2026 • Hotel Aviator, Radom

WHY ARE WE MEETING?

To bring together perspectives from residents, local government, business, experts and European institutions. We want to identify where cooperation can deliver lasting benefits: new skills, investment, better services and a stronger region.

WHY NOW?

Technology is transforming economies and jobs. Europe is preparing for its next funding period after 2027. Energy security, transport connections and the competitiveness of cities matter more than ever. Decisions made today will shape opportunities for years.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE?

We want to move beyond diagnosis: share experience, identify realistic directions for development and build relationships that can lead to concrete initiatives. The congress is intended as the beginning of continued cooperation, not its conclusion.

02 / A EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE

A Europe strengthened by its cities and regions.

Europe's future is not shaped in capitals alone. It is also built in medium-sized cities — where businesses operate, young people learn and families make everyday choices about where to live and work. Radom should be able to seize the opportunities offered by European cooperation, a modern economy and responsible investment.

This approach connects local ambition with a European outlook: economic competitiveness, responsible use of public resources and cooperation whose benefits can be felt by residents.

03 / FROM IDEAS TO ACTION

Five perspectives. One shared goal.

01 /

Technology that serves people

Artificial intelligence, robotics and digital services should strengthen local businesses, education and public services — not only in major cities.

02 /

Stronger cities and regions

A discussion about investment, local government and EU funding beyond 2027 — and how European cooperation can create tangible opportunities for Radom.

03 /

Secure energy

Small modular reactors (SMRs) open a discussion about energy security, industrial needs and the economic conditions for new investment.

04 /

Better connections

We consider Radom Airport as part of Poland's and Europe's transport network, through the needs of residents, businesses and the region's economic potential.

05 /

Sport and city identity

Local clubs, athletes and sports facilities can strengthen Radom's profile, encourage participation and increase the city's appeal.

OUR AMBITION

Radom has its history. We build its future together.

We want the conversations begun at the congress to inspire further initiatives — for residents, the local economy and future generations.
